Hwy 71 – 716-65- 77 Tiberias located on the Sea of Galilee 215 meters below sea level on the Syrian African rift Valley. Tiberias was founded 20 ad by the son of King Herod the Great, King Herod Antipas. It was named in honor of the Roman Emperor Tiberus. It was a the last place were the Sanhedrin set. Today it is a lively tourist resorts with hotels and lots of atractions.
On Hwy 90 along the Sea of Glilee we r going to visit The Boat museum at Kibbutz Ginosar.
Climbing to the Upper Galilee mountains to Sefat famous for being the place where Rabbi Isaac Luria founded a new system of the Kabbalah and as a Jewish and modern art center.
Rosh Pina is the first Zionist settlement in Israel before the Zionist movement was founded, today a peace full small tourist resort with lots of atmosphere.
Combing to Golan Heights we r going to cross the Jordan river to Mt Bental which was an I.D.F military post and today a tourist attraction. We'll be able to see the Syrian border and the battle field from Yom Kippur war.
3 hours drive back to Tel Aviv if time permit we can stop at Katzerin the Israeli capital of the Golan Heights to day as 2,000 years ago.
