Planing your tour in Israel.
How many days we need to cover Israel?
This is a question I often being asked but I have no answer. I live in Israel for 53 years, I study Israel for more then 10 Years, I am working as a tourist guide 15 years and I feel that I did not learn and see enough. But do not allow this answer to confuse you the answer is in yourself, calculate how many days you have holiday and how much you wish to spend on your tour that will give the figure you want.
Planing your itinerary.
First day - flying far from home is a physical and mental experience, so pleas plan an easy day, and do not forget that some time your luggage can come late and you should be near. For the first day/s I’ll recommend Tel Aviv
Coming days – after you calculate your vacation and figure how many days you have in total this is your list
North
Caesarea and shore line
Lower Galilee and Sea of Galilee
Golan Heights
Sfat and upper Galilee
South
Negev small & big crater
Mitzpe Ramon
Eilat
Arava valley
Center
Latrun & Ela valley
East
Dead Sea
Judean desert
Free days You need time with your self or in the way you like it or it is to much to be on a plan all time so do not forget to plan at least 1 free day, always you can change it.
Last days Jerusalem is no doubt the high light of your tour In Israel so I advice to leave it to the end, also it is close to the airport.
